Need a Team

Their nonprofit doesn’t have a marketing or communications department.

Need a Team Member

The internal marketing department is small and lacks a dedicated communications team.

Need a Guide

Leaders or board members are too close to an issue and can’t see or identify the problem and figure out how to solve it.

Bridge
Need Expertise

They could benefit from developing best governance practices or need support in thinking through their strategy.

Need Support

An external resource is needed to bridge an internal team through a major expansion, an acquisition or merger, or growth in new locations/markets.

Urban Health Care Center

Problem:  Operating in a dynamic and challenging environment, an organization providing critical services to an underserved urban population needed to examine its future. The board of directors wanted to understand whether a partnership with another organization made sense but didn’t know how to evaluate the pros and cons of partnership options.

Solution: Red Purse Marketing developed an education program for board members and senior staff leaders that helped them understand why an organization might consider a partnership, what types of partnership options are available, and how to evaluate partner candidates in their community.

Result: Board members have the knowledge and understanding they need to evaluate whether and how a partnership with another organization could support their effort to serve the community well into the future.

“Our board was conflicted about whether we should consider entering into a partnership with another organization. The education program that Red Purse delivered defused the conflict and helped the board discuss the issue with objectivity. Their expertise and professional style contributed to the elevation of the board’s competence on corporate partnerships.”

Regional Membership Organization

Problem:  Emerging from the pandemic, a membership organization of professionals in the private school arena needed to evaluate its future – whether, where, and how it should grow – and determine how it could maximize benefits for its members.

Solution:  Red Purse Marketing facilitated a discovery session where the leaders of the organization grappled with these questions and were able to coalesce a variety of viewpoints into a cohesive high-level plan for the organization’s future.

Result:  The organization was off and running with new efforts to better support existing members and attract new members.

“Red Purse Marketing demonstrated a strong sense of commitment to supporting our cause. When we met with the Red Purse team, it felt like we were working with long-time partners from the very beginning. They are phenomenal at what they do!”

– Board President

Countywide Senior Service Agency

Problem: The executive director and incoming board chair of a countywide organization serving senior citizens wanted to enhance the performance of the agency’s board of directors.

Solution: Red Purse Marketing delivered board training and education and provided ongoing support to the agency’s nominating and board development committee.

Result: The organization streamlined its governance practices. Governance work is accomplished through active committees and effective oversight has been achieved while reducing board meetings from monthly to bi-monthly.

“We needed practical, easy-to-understand, boardsmanship training. Red Purse Marketing delivered.”
